Differences between our Dymo LabelWriters

As we said in the text above the products we’ve three different types label printers. Here are the differences so you’re able making a good decision for a particular Dymo LabelWriter.


The Dymo Labelwriter 450 Turbo is the cheapest Dymo model in this product category. It prints labels with a print speed of 71 labels per minute. The label writer has a print quality of 300dpi which is the high standard in the print industry. Finally, this label printer uses a direct thermal print technology. This means that you can’t and don’t have to use a toner to print. It prints through heat.


The Dymo Labelwriter 450 Twin Turbo. This label writer has a price between the Dymo Labelwriter 450 Turbo and the Dymo Labelwriter 4XL. The “Twin” part proves its function. It’s a machine with two label rolls, so you can print twice as many labels in the same amount of time. The print speed is the same as their non-Twin counterpart - 71 labels per minute. Also, the print technology is the same as the 450 Turbo - direct thermal!


The Dymo LabelWriters: Dymo Labelwriter 4XL. This printer is capable to print on extra large labels with a maximum of 106 millimetres. With print speeds of 129 labels per minute, you can easily print high volumes with a print quality of 300dpi.
